Lyra’s journey takes her to the far north, where something inexplicable is happening, a city can be seen through the bright green northern lights, a city not in Lyra’s world. This book is mysterious and action filled, with exciting twists, constantly keeping you engaged. His Dark Materials is now a collection of four books, following Lyra to different worlds, unravelling a great conspiracy to overthrow the greatest power of them all. I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of ten, as it is not too hard to read, and is constantly engaging, making for an enjoyable read.
