Linda Samuels, Elly’s Adventure Down by the Sea

Come and hear artist, Linda Nissen Samuels read from ‘Elly’s Adventure Down by the Sea’ and ‘Elly’s Adventure in the Animal Park’, to discover how Elly, the little eco-warrior helps save our planet. Linda will follow the reading with a fun drawing workshop. Even those who think they can’t draw will be able to create their own undersea, or animal park scene.

 

All materials are provided, and participants can proudly take their drawings home as inspiration for more creativity in the future.

Come and meet author Tanya Page as she reads from, ‘Chilli and Pickles Out Fox the Fox’ and ‘Victoria Mouse goes to Buckingham Palace.’ She will be demonstrating simple ways to draw some of the characters and everyone will get the chance to draw and colour in their own picture based on the stories.

Learn about these extinct relatives and have a go at making your own cave paintings!

Tiger fanatic and children’s author R .D. Dikstra reveals the real-life adventure behind his Tigeropolis stories, following a family of vegetarian tigers running their own wild tiger reserve in the foothills of the Himalayas.
